• Diana Frances Nee Spencer was the first wife of Charles I , prince of Wales. She was born in Norfolk, England ( 1961).

•Their engagement with Charles became official on 24 February 1981.

•The Real Wedding was on 29 July 1981, watched by a global television audience of 750 million. She had two children: William (26) and Harry (24).

•She got divorced in 1995, because Charles had a extra-marital affair with Camilla Parker Bowles

•She died in a traggical accident on August 31th in Paris.

•As Princess of Wales , she asummed the patronage of several charitable organizartions . The most Important was the INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO BAND LANMINES , which allowed her to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997.
